ACID ETCH, BARRIER

& ZINC PRIMERS

To provide a long lasting life span of any powder coated product, the initial preparation using the correct primer and topcoat will keep your product safe and in good condition for years to come. Although the initial outlay will be more expensive, the extra primer coat will be well worth the investment.

JDM Powder Tech Ltd can apply all types of primers, however the three main primers we stock and use in house, supplied by Akzonobel are;

BPP600 - Barrier Primer (Ideally used on Aluminium and Steel for external use)

PZ790 - Zinc Primer (Ideally used on Shot Blasted Steel)

AEP - Acid Etch Primer (Ideally used on Aluminium and Steel for surface preparation)
